Performa 11 is a three-week long performance art biennial being held in NYC this month.  The festival will feature film and experimental music, as well as performed interventions into public space, modern dance, and a retrospective featuring the Fluxus movement, a group of NYC-based artists that re-imagined the world of sculpture and performance in the 60s and 70s.

And, we have three pairs of tickets to Saturday’s Performa 11 event, Visiting Tarab, which features a number of artists we sweat, including Anti-Pop Consortium, Raz Mesinai, Badawi, and Mira Calix.

The festival has given us a download of this amazing composition by  the Mao Brass Band, from a live performance of his called Un-drum2: the Chinese Connection.

“Organized by Lebanese artist Tarek Atoui, ‘Visiting Tarab’ will incorporate elements of the world’s largest collection of Classical Arab music as interpreted by 16 musicians and sound artists ranging in expertise from hip hop to electronic and contemporary music.”  (more info)

Send your first and last name to info@theclustermag.com and three winners will be randomly selected to win a pair of tickets to this amazing event in West Side Manhattan on Saturday night, a $60.00 value.
